Dr. Amy T. Byrd is an internal medicine physician with a passion for personalized patient care. She knew at an early age that she wanted to be a doctor and believes it is her calling. As an MDVIP-affiliated physician, Dr. Byrd offers a different approach to primary care with conveniences like same/next-day appointments that start on time and a focus on preventive medicine. Her practice is open to new patients, including Medicare and commercially insured. She sees fewer patients, which means she has more time to offer each one. Dr. Byrd works to give her patients the attention and medical care she would want for her family members. She has strong relationships with specialists at Johns Hopkins, Greater Baltimore Medical Center and St. Joseph's Medical Center and is able to get quick consultations when needed. She was honored to be selected by her colleagues as a “Baltimore Top Doctor” in 2020 and 2021.
