Located at 535 Eighth Avenue in Manhattan, the practice offers three tiered membership plans starting at $59/month — removing the traditional barriers of copays and insurance complexity while delivering unlimited physician visits. The practice is led by Dr. John Muney, MD, FACS, a board-certified surgeon with decades of experience in primary and family medicine. AMG Medical Group covers primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, gynecological care, and performs over 40 types of office-based surgical procedures — from wound care to skin lesion removal — making it one of the more clinically comprehensive DPC practices in the city. Membership includes same-day appointments, lab testing (blood, urine, stool), EKG, urinalysis, blood sugar testing, and near-wholesale pricing on medications. Members also gain access to discounted dental, vision, hearing, chiropractic, and prescription services through the Liberty Direct program. AMG does not bill through third-party payers. The practice accepts Medicare (excluding HMOs) and its own membership plans, operating purely on a direct-pay model. A one-time $49 registration fee applies, with a 12-month commitment required on all plans.
