Dr. Alicia Benjamin, MD is a board-certified internist and member of the Private Internal Medicine Center (PIMC) at Scripps Clinic, one of San Diego's most established concierge medicine programs. The PIMC is a concierge practice within Scripps Health that limits patient panels so each physician can provide intensive, highly personalized primary care. Dr. Benjamin earned her MD from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in 1989, completed her residency in internal medicine at UC San Diego (board-certified 1992), and joins the PIMC with over 30 years of experience including 21 years at a large multi-specialty group and a role as regional medical director. Her clinical interests span diabetes, geriatrics, anxiety and depression, preventive medicine, and women's health. She has been named one of San Diego's Top Doctors for nine consecutive years. Scripps PIMC offers tiered annual memberships: Gold starts at $3,780/year (under 65) or $4,660/year (over 65); Diamond adds an executive health examination for an additional $3,090/person; Diamond+ includes a comprehensive lifestyle assessment for an additional $3,650/person. All tiers include same-day or next-day appointments, around-the-clock telephone and pager access to a personal physician, specialty care coordination, complimentary valet parking, and private waiting areas.
